China's medical dressing exports boast a clear competitive advantage.
According to the latest statistics from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products, China's total exports of medical dressings reached US$2.629 billion in 2014, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.46%. This accounted for 13.13% of China's overall medical device exports that year (US$20.023 billion). Notably, the growth rate of medical dressing exports outpaced the overall growth rate of medical device exports by 6.9 percentage points. Additionally, China's Trade Competitiveness Index stood at 0.77, highlighting a significant competitive edge in the international market.
